About the role:

  • Serve as the day-to-day strategy lead on multiple pieces of business
  • Strive to bring new research methodologies to the table; fully versed in all aspects of research management and techniques
  • Serve as an extension of client’s marketing department through research
  • Use research and insight to keep internal teams informed, inspired and on point
  • Develop compelling briefs that inspire breakthrough creative and consumer engagement programs
  • Partner with clients to identify key insights and information and pro-actively solve marketing problems
  • Support new business and actively participate in this process
  • Help train and mentor junior and mid-level planners


About you:

  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in brand planning or research/insight role; experience in a research agency with quantitative research is a plus. Experience on fast-paced accounts such as retail also a plus
  • Classic strategic planning skills: strong strategic thinker, able to search for insights and write tight briefs, shepherd strategic idea through the creative process
  • Self-starter with strong organizational skills
  • Innovative thinker; both big picture and detailed thinking is valued
  • Able to collaborate across disciplines
  • Current on marketing trends, including digital media and new technologies
  • Desire to grow in a small, fast-paced and collaborative environment with a heavy new business focus
